Responsibility
To make your stay as pleasant as possible, we would like to inform you that the management does not accept responsibility for loss, theft, or forgotten items. We recommend not leaving valuable items unattended in your room. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Alarm
In case of emergency, you can contact our reception directly by dialing number 9 on the telephone in your room. Furthermore, there is always a first aid responder present in our building to assist you in emergency situations. Your safety is our top priority.
Á la carte restaurant Suyd
We welcome you for lunch between 11:30 and 16:00, and for dinner between 17:00 and 22:00. If you would like to make a reservation, simply dial 9 on your room phone to reach the reception staff.
Payment methods
Debit card (preferred), Cash (no foreign currency), Credit cards (Amex, Visa, Euro/Mastercard, Diners), Van der Valk Giftcard, VVV gift voucher, VVV dinner voucher, and VVV Lekker & Weg voucher.
Swimwear
Forgot your swimwear? No worries! You can still use our swimming pool and other wellness facilities. We have swimwear available at the reception.
Diet / Allergies
If you have a diet or allergy, please inform our reception (dial 9). Our kitchen can take this into account, provided it is indicated well in advance. Your comfort and well-being are of the utmost importance to us.
Photoshoot

Cycling
Discover the beautiful surroundings of Van der Valk Hotel Lelystad by bike! Our reception will be happy to assist you with reserving a bike, both before and during your stay. Enjoy an electric bike for €29.50 per day or a regular bike for €16.00 per day. Return the keys to the reception and safely store your bike in our locked bike shed. For more information and reservations, our reception is always available to help.
Bicycle parking
We have a closed bicycle storage next to our hotel. It is mandatory to store all bicycles here. Bicycles are not allowed in the hotel room. A fine will be imposed in case of violation. The key to the bicycle storage is kept at the reception. You can report to the reception for it.
Lost and Found Items
Did you lose something during your stay? We keep found items in our hotel for one month. Valuable and precious items will be kept with us for a longer period until the owner claims them.
If we find something in your room, we will contact you. You can pick up the item within a week or have it shipped. After one month, unclaimed items will be given a second life and donated to a charity.
Hotel bar Skybar BARBOA
On the sixteenth floor of our hotel, you will find the skybar, where you can enjoy a delicious drink while overlooking the breathtaking view of Lelystad. The bar offers an exclusive experience and provides a 360-degree panoramic view of the entire region. It is open daily from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Pets
Your pet is welcome in the lobby bar and on our terrace (when it is open). Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our restaurant, sky bar, or in a room.
Check-in
Your hotel room will be available on the day of arrival from 3:00 pm.
Internet / Wifi
The entire building and terrace have free WiFi.
Room reservation
When you wish to make a room reservation for the next overnight stay during your stay, we recommend that you do so one day before departure. This will help avoid any waiting times during check-out.
KNAAP Fatbike
How fun is it to ride a Fatbike? At our reception, you can rent a KNAAP Fatbike for €37.50! Plan a beautiful bike route or enjoy a drink in the city center. With a Fatbike, you'll be fast and stylish everywhere.
Christmas at Hotel Lelystad
During the holidays, regular bookings are not available. Instead, you can choose from our special Christmas offer, including festive overnight stays, an extensive Christmas buffet, or a luxurious 4-course dinner. Pillows and blankets
If you wish to have extra duvets, pillows, or clothes hangers in your room, please contact the reception (dial 9). We are ready to meet your needs. Additionally, your bed is equipped with both a soft and a firm pillow, so you can choose what is most comfortable for you.
Emergency exits
All emergency exits are clearly marked and equipped with emergency lighting. For your own safety, we advise you to familiarize yourself upon arrival so that you can locate the emergency exits in case of an emergency. You will also find a map with escape routes on the inside of the door in your room.
Breakfast
The breakfast buffet is served in our restaurant from Monday to Friday from 06:30 am to 10:00 am. On Saturday and Sunday from 07:30 am to 10:30 am.
Parking
For the first four hours, you can park for free next to our hotel in the designated parking spaces.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the entire building. If you have smoked in your room, we will charge €250 for cleaning costs.
Room service
Would you prefer to dine in your room? No problem! Please note that we charge a €10.00 surcharge for In-room Dining. You can place your order by dialing 9 on your hotel phone.
Shop
For a tasty snack, you can visit our store in the lobby. We have a variety of treats to satisfy your hunger. Feel free to stop by and discover our selection!
Taxi
Upon request, we would be happy to arrange a taxi for you. For more information, please contact our reception. We are ready to assist you with your transportation needs.
Terrace
On beautiful days, we would like to invite you to enjoy on our terrace. Whether you want to relax in the sun or be served, our terrace offers the perfect ambiance for your stay. We look forward to welcoming you!
Check out
We kindly ask you to vacate your room with your luggage by 11:00 am on the day of departure. We would appreciate it if you could return your room key to the reception. Thank you for your cooperation, and we hope you have had a pleasant stay.
Web service
If you would like to use our wake-up service, please provide your room number and desired wake-up time to our reception (dial 9). We will make sure you are woken up on time. Your comfort is our priority.
